She paced the room looking for a reason to stay alive. Her heart was pounding and the sound of her sobbing only brought her hopes down. There was absolutely nothing worth keeping the knife away from her already mutilated wrist and the temptation was only growing stronger. The sound of his voice still echoed in the room and everytime she blinked she could see his face the way she saw him the first time they kissed. She dropped to her knees holding what was left of her heart in her stomach and with every cut made sure it was deep enough to take away all the pain she felt from the moment he walked through the door.
